Hoosier all began back in the early 1950s when Bob Newton, along with his supportive wife Joyce, began a successful racing career on the small asphalt tracks of northern Indiana. It was during these early days that Bob had the vision to produce his own tires specifically designed for racing. So in 1957 Bob and Joyce created Hoosier tires.

The third generation of Hoosier MX Tyres offers a stiffer construction to improve lean angle grip, quicker response, also better braking and stability. Using the same intermediate tread pattern as previous generations, the tire is optimal for all conditions.

The MX30 compound is slightly firmer than the MX25 to reduce block roll-on hardpack and extreme cornering. The MX30 offers a longer-lasting performance with enough grip to still drag the bars and increase cornering speed, reducing lap times.
