Gen 3 Portals are Geared for All
Geared for all means that whether you’re rock crawling in Utah, mud riding in Texas, or doing chores in Indiana, a Gen 3 4” GDP Portal Gear Lift is right for you. It doesn’t matter where or how you ride, with the choice of 15% and 30% gear reductions, you can get the right amount of torque for you and your Polaris Ranger 1000. It’s all about getting the performance you actually want.

GDP—the Most Trusted Name in Portals
Do you have trust issues when it comes to big parts like this? Don’t worry, more riders roll on SuperATV’s GDP Portals than any other portal system. Why? Because we’ve refined them and improved them over the years based on feedback and experience to ensure that they’re the best you can get. They’re the most real-world proven UTV portals you can get.

Perfect for Mud
Mud + GDP Portals + your Ranger 1000 = the most fun you’ve ever had on four wheels. Seriously, a 4” lift and a gear reduction give you plenty of room for monster tires and tons of torque to turn them. You’ll tear through mud holes with performance you have to see to believe. GDP turns your Ranger into the ultimate mud party wagon.

A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
The difference between a portal gear reduction and a standard gear reduction is that portals put it right in the hub. Since it’s at the very end of your drivetrain, you get less wear and tear on your axles, differential, prop shafts, and transmission. It’s better than riding on stock.

Unmatched Gear Material
We put precision-ground 9310 steel alloy gears in our portals because they’re the best you can get… and we know you guys like to get wild. They mate perfectly every time so you get super-smooth, super-quiet portals. They’re top-of-the-line gears that are built for the worst your heavy boot can do.

Stronger Housings by Design
A strong portal box is built with experience and precision, and we’ve got both. Whether you choose cast or our USA-made 6061 billet aluminum, you’re getting a housing with strength through design.

  • Our housings are reinforced in all the right places

  • They’re built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind

  • There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we know because we tested them

The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can Get
The backing plates hold your entire suspension together, so we beefed them up. They’re made with a special steel alloy that’s stronger than chromoly, and at 5/16” thick, you know they can handle years of rough rides without bending or deforming. They’re nothing less than the best, because that’s what you need.

Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:

  • Advanced Thermo-Tork® gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets

  • A sealed input gear and double-lipped output seal

  • 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can forget about oil leaks

Unbeatable Bearings
We know the devil’s in the details, so we made sure that even our bearings are tough enough for you. The output bearing takes the most force, so we use a double-angular contact bearing that can handle the worst of it. The idler bearing deals with tons of internal pressure so we use roller bearings that are designed for incredible strength. Even the smallest parts are built for battle.

Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
Our precision-ground, stainless steel slotted rotors stay cool to give you the braking power you need when you need it. They come with 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs—you can fit wheels built for almost any side-by-side on these hubs. We invented the tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to. It provides a more secure lock that won’t wobble or wear over time.
